Before Taking Prosphora or Holy Water
O Lord my God,
may thy gift of holy prosphora [or: holy water]
be for the remission of my sins,
for the enlightenment of my mind,
for the strengthening and health of the faculties of my soul and body,
and for the uprooting of my passions and infirmities,
in accordance with thy boundless mercy,
through the prayers of thy most pure Mother
and of all thy saints.
